“It sounded great to me, so I agreed to take up some catalog orders to help with her party. The rest is history! I received so much interest and so many orders in my town that I knew I needed to start selling, even before I had actually SEEN the jewelry in person. (By the way, my mom became a Consultant just months later!) In my mind, I expected and hoped to make a ‘little extra’ money for my husband and I to use for trips and the extras in life that we may have done without as a newly married couple.
