Christina Willcox is Just Jewelry’s 2012 Top Seller of the Faith, Hope, Love Bracelet. Just Jewelry’s exclusively designed Faith, Hope, Love Bracelet promotes the “Get Nutty” Project. This project not only allows our customers to look great on the outside, but more importantly it enables them to feel great on the inside knowing they are partnering with us to save lives! Just Jewelry is proud to feature a Consultant whose personal enthusiasm and passion has tremendously supported the Plumpy’Nut® initiative. We caught up with Christina during a Q&A session to gain a better understanding of how this project has specifically impacted her life as well as the lives of many hungry children!!

Q: What makes the ‘Get Nutty Project’ such a success for you as Just Jewelry Consultant?

A: It has been said that success has nothing to do with what you gain in life or accomplish for yourself – it’s what you do for others. As a mom of four, I have a hard time imagining what it would be like to watch my children suffer from life-threatening hunger. Can you picture feeling so helpless? It breaks my heart to think of other moms experiencing such a devastating situation, wishing and hoping every day for a miracle for their babies. That is why I promote Just Jewelry’s “Get Nutty” Project, which provides funds for Plumpy’Nut® packets through the U.S. manufacturer, Edesia (a non-profit started by a mom!). This ready-to-use therapeutic food (RUTF) has been shown to reverse severe acute malnutrition in children. Sounds like a miracle to me! Knowing that I’m making a difference in the lives of these moms and their children equals success for me.

Q: How have you personally extended this uniquely designed bracelet to family, friends and other JJ loyalists?

A: Every time someone purchases Just Jewelry’s special Faith, Hope, Love Bracelet at one of my parties or events, two Plumpy’Nut® packets are provided for someone’s child, somewhere in our world. That gives my friends, customers, and supporters a chance to make a difference every day… to participate in making miracles for someone in need. What an amazing blessing! I always have the bracelets on hand and offer them to each customer. Every time they see their bracelet on their wrist, they are reminded of the miraculous gift they provided for a child, for a mom, for another human being. When they want to give the bracelet as a present, I enclose a special card which explains our mission and helps them tell their friend, sister, mother, or other loved one about how they are now a part of this miracle. I offer discounts to customers purchasing multiple bracelets – some have purchased 10 or more to take care of many gifts at once! I also promote our “Get Nutty” Project on my Facebook fan page and have met many new friends that way. I want to partner with more customers, fans, and friends in this project to let more moms around the world know that we support them in their desire to raise healthy and strong children.

Q: What is your favorite part about being a member of the Just Jewelry Family of Consultants?

A: In addition to helping to make miracles in the lives of others through our “Get Nutty” initiative, I love building a nationwide team of “Jazzy Jewels” who are also making a difference in their neighborhoods and communities by sharing Just Jewelry with others. Whether offering our Faith, Hope, Love Bracelet to feed malnourished children, supporting local fundraising efforts, or helping other women find freedom and success by starting their own Just Jewelry business, we can all make a difference in the lives of others every day. Just Jewelry continues to offer the Faith, Hope, Love Bracelet in support of the Plumpy’Nut® initiative. For each $18 bracelet sold, Just Jewelry is donating the funds necessary to provide two Plumpy’Nut® treatments to a malnourished child. All donations are submitted to Edesia, and earmarked for the production and distribution of the Plumpy’Nut® product.
